I completely agree, kindness always wins in the end and brings a sense of peace and contentment…

If I treated him with more kindness, maybe he would have come around and we both would have felt good. But even if he didn’t, I still would have felt good trying to be kind. I wouldn’t have this guilt I’m holding on to now.
