When Everything Falls Apart, Here’s What You Should Do
In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity.
It’s a lesson I’ve come to embrace, especially with the challenge of building Cupsly. This journey has been one of the toughest tests of my life.
I’ve found myself deep in the chaos, where nothing seems to go as planned, and the doubts creep in fast. You start to wonder: Is it all worth it?
There have been countless moments where I felt like quitting — when everything seemed like it was unraveling. But here’s the thing: that’s exactly when most people give up. And I realized something important in those tough moments.
I look back and appreciate the chaos, because it made me stronger:
- When our research group hated our first design.
- When I wasted money on unnecessary things.
- When the project took way longer than expected.
These weren’t setbacks. They were lessons. Each chaotic moment forced me to adjust my perspective and adapt. I learned that chaos isn’t something to avoid — it’s where the real growth happens.
